The Icelandic Evaluation Society is open for all those who have a Master‘s or a Doctoral degree in program evaluation or related fields, as well as others that the board deems having fulfilled requirements for university educated evaluators. People interested in joining the society send a written application to the board.
The Icelandic Evaluation Society aims to be a platform for the exchange of experience and discussion of aspects of evaluations, such as:

• Development of evaluation theory and methods
• Introducing the discipline and aid its progress in Iceland
• Encourage cooperation and collaboration among members
• Work in the professional interest of members
• Develop Icelandic standards for good evaluation practice
